Virtualization and remote desktops are an important part of your infrastructure and work. RDP servers work only with Windows although the client is available for almost all operating systems including Linux, Mac, and Android. Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is a protocol developed by Microsoft which lets users remotely take graphic control of another computer. RDP provides a high level of flexibility in that aspect. The only thing you need for a remotely controlled Windows desktop is a PC running an RDP-capable version of windows, an RDP client software on your device, and a stable internet connection. Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Services uses Microsoft’s Remote Desktop Protocol, or RDP, naturally.
